Spring renewal means new regalia

So now that the small spring powwows are over and the summer season is well on the way it's time for the creative juices to flow.  I have made Derek a new shirt and myself a new dress and shawl.



I find the design process to be what takes the most time.  It takes me FOREVER to come up with designs that don't look sloppy.  There are people out there who can come up with beautiful designs and gorgeous colour combinations right off the top of their heads.  Now that is amazing.  

I am now going to put together a new dress for hoop dance using this fabric.  Fingers crossed it comes out well.
