Derek and Ava with the Knightingales |
The Rochester Knighthawks played the Washington Stealth on Saturday and we once again danced right before the game. Ava is the smallest therefore has to really dance hard to not get run over. At one point in the song I happened to see her just as she danced right out of her moccasin. You could see on her face she didn't know what to do at first. She didn't know if she should go back and get it, or just keep dancing. She made the right choice and kept going.
This was the most exciting game yet. The Knighthawks won 15 - 12 and the kids were pretty excited and busy discussing the game most of the way home.
I was working really hard on replacing the ribbon on a new shawl for the game but I didn't have quite enough time to get it done. It will be ready for the next game for sure! I always seem to underestimate how much time it takes to put ribbon fringe on things.
It's Family Day for most provinces here in Canada so I hope everyone is doing something to take advantage of this day to spend with your loved ones.
